1. Scope of Engagement
These terms govern the engagement of web design, custom software development, AI integration, and digital consulting services provided by Innovative Dream Solutions. Detailed scopes of work (SOW), milestone calendars, and technical specifications are confirmed in formal project proposals signed prior to project commencement.
2. Estimates vs. Binding Quotations
Calculations generated by our interactive Website Cost Calculator, published price guides, or discussions with the IDS Smart Assistant represent indicative non-binding estimations intended for preliminary planning. A binding commercial quotation is only finalized after detailed discovery and technical requirement sign-off.
3. Milestone Payments & Deliverables
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, projects are structured on milestone-based disbursements (e.g., discovery deposit, design sign-off, staging review, and production launch). Code deployment to client production environments and domain transfers occur upon completion of final milestone settlement.
4. Intellectual Property & Code Ownership
Upon receipt of full payment for contracted services, all custom code, custom designs, and database structures authored specifically for the client become the exclusive intellectual property of the client. Third-party open-source components (e.g., PHP, Bootstrap, open-source libraries) remain governed by their respective permissive licenses (e.g., MIT, Apache 2.0).
5. Hosting & Third-Party Services
While we engineer websites to operate reliably on standard shared hosting (such as Hostinger) and assist with deployment, clients remain responsible for their underlying hosting subscription, domain name registration, and any third-party API costs (e.g., OpenAI API tokens, Google Cloud billing, or WhatsApp Cloud API messaging limits).
6. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to protect and keep strictly confidential all proprietary business data, customer lists, architectural blueprints, and trade secrets disclosed during the engagement.
